  • Those with lower monthly premiums, usually, have higher deductibles

Co-insurance

The percentage of cost an individual must pay of the covered insurance cost after paying the deductible.

Copay

The amount of money a person with health insurance is required to pay each healthcare service

Depending on an individual's monthly premiums (generally):

 

  • Those with lower premiums have higher copayments
  • Those with higher premiums have lower copayments

Covers unexpected costs for eye injury or disease

Includes providing medication, monitoring cataract development, examinations for any medical conditions that causes eye problems
